Nolan Arenado. 2. player. 108. . 3B. Colorado Rockies

Nolan Arenado is one of the very best players in the world. He takes the spot in the lineup over any player in the league not named Mike Trout. You can argue him in there with guys like Mookie Betts, Cody Bellinger, and Christian Yelich. For that reason, the White Sox should absolutely look at him if he does actually become available again when baseball returns. Arenado had one foot out the door of the Colorado Rockies organization during the offseason and the White Sox were mentioned.

Nothing obviously happened but that certainly would be something. Arenado is one of the few players that you bump Yoan Moncada back to second base for. Hopefully, Moncada’s breakout year in 2019 allows him to maintain his production at the plate no matter what position he is playing. He was a great player last year and the White Sox are heavily relying on him to help them bring a championship back to Chicago.

If they were able to figure out a way to make it work in terms of their roster, adding Arenado would be a game-changer. You would have to assume that they go from a playoff-hopeful to a favorite in the American League Central and a contender for the World Series.
