Get ready for some Chicago White Sox action in “The Last Dance”

The Chicago White Sox has many baseball legends that suited up for their organization but Michael Jordan fits a whole new mold.

Everyone knows the story by now. Michael Jordan left the National Basketball Association after winning three NBA titles in the earlier portion of the dynasty. Well, he happened to play for the Chicago White Sox organization when he left to come to play Major League Baseball. The Chicago Bulls and Chicago White Sox famously share an owner and their bond as organizations have more than just that in common.

Jordan eventually made it apparent that the greatest basketball player who ever lived wasn’t very good at baseball. He did go back to basketball where he would win another three titles to make it six on the career. Most of this is common knowledge to most sports fans. It appears that they are going to touch on this a little bit on tonight’s episodes of “The Last Dance.”

The Bulls tweeted out a picture hinting at it as it showed him in both a White Sox and Bulls jersey. As much as it didn’t work out on the baseball side of things, it is great that the organization he tried the sport with at a professional level was the White Sox. He was one of the most famous human beings in the world at the time and he brought that attention to this organization.

If people want to tune into this, it will be found on the ESPN  networks at 8 pm central standard time. This will be episodes 7 and 8 for this 10 part documentary. It is well-received by all sports fans across the world that are watching. It has extra eyes due to the fact that there are no live sports on right now which could be great exposure for the White Sox.

The White Sox are one of those organizations that don’t get the respect that they deserve but this is a chance for them to shine. Jordan wasn’t at all any good with the White Sox organization but he was certainly there. Hopefully, the White Sox get their due in these episodes that go over that part of his life.
