Uniform Two
There is something special about baseball jerseys from the early days of the game. Even though they are fit a bit more when they are worn now, the nostalgia behind them is really cool for people who weren’t around during those times. For the Chicago White Sox, there are so many jerseys like that because this team is so old.
The jerseys that the White Sox wore in 1929 were so cool. The ones they wore on the road were cool as they were grey with “Chicago” written across in navy blue but the home jerseys are the ones they should bring back sometime. The jersey can be seen in the picture above has the “O” and the “X” placed in between the loops of the “S” both on the chest and on the hat. It is a really good look for a baseball uniform and definitely one they should bring back.
The White Sox were trying to remove themselves from the “Black Sox” scandal that happened ten years prior at that point, but wearing them now would have nothing to do with that. In fact, seeing the modern-day White Sox players dawning jerseys this old would be really fun to see. Hopefully, we can see something like this or at least one that is similarly old.
