The White Sox have been broadcasting their games and have so many great highlights.
The Chicago White Sox have been showing their inter-squad scrimmages on a bunch of different platforms over the last few days. They have been on Facebook, Youtube, and the NBC Sports Chicago App for the first couple days and yesterday was on the television (NBC Sports Chicago). It has been great to watch our team finally hit the field and play baseball. It is a bit strange watching them play in front of no fans but any baseball is better than no baseball.
Dallas Keuchel is AWESOME!
Dallas Keuchel had himself a really good game for the White Sox. During the broadcast, Jason Benetti and Chuck Garfien went through and compared him and some of his ways to Mark Buehrle. It was proven on the field as he did a lot of the same things the former White Sox pitcher did. He was rolling through so fast that they decided to start one of his innings with two men on and one out. He got himself out of the jam which was impressive to watch. If Keuchel is able to be a great number two behind Lucas Giolito, this could be a really deep staff.
Zack Collins… hello
Zack Collins is currently the third-string catcher. Yasmani Grandal and James McCann are going to form the best catching duo in the MLB so Collins might not get the playing time he deserves but he can be a really nice backup designated hitter and backup first baseman. He hit a home run in the game and looked good while doing it. This kid has a bright future, it is just going to be interesting to see how they use him.
Luis Robert is the most athletic person of all time
Luis Robert is making people who talk about this team sound like a broken record. He does something sweet pretty much every single day. Yesterday, he showed more of his ability to impact the game from a defensive point of view. He is the definition of a five-tool player and shows more and more of it every time.
Does any pro athlete have more fun than Eloy Jimenez?
Eloy Jimenez has so much fun every single time he is on the field. He even hit a triple which is something that you don’t see too often from Jimenez. He had the biggest smile on his face while rounding the bases which was really funny. He has so much fun every single time he is on the field before, during, and after the game. He is going to be one of the biggest personalities in the entire sport.
That wasn’t the end of White Sox Summer Camp scrimmage action. They have a few more games left before the exhibition season starts and then the 60 game season. This team is going to be so good and everybody will soon realize it. There is something fun to talk about every day.
