The Chicago White Sox are now up to .500 against the Minnesota Twins this season.

A lot of people don’t like to give the Chicago White Sox credit for anything they do. It is a real shame because there is no doubt that this team is fun to watch but you can only feel sorry for those people as they refuse to believe it and watch it. There are a lot of people that rip on the Sox for being 18-2 against the Kansas City Royals and Detroit Tigers. That is nothing more than a sign of being able to defeat teams you are better than.

If you take the losses to the White Sox away from each of those teams, their records are actually closer to .500 than you might think. Nothing has been easy for the White Sox this season and it certainly isn’t going to get any easier.

One team that put a bit of fear in our eyes is the Minnesota Twins. They went into their series against them this past week with a record of 2-4 against them. Despite having a lead on them for the division, it was worrisome that they couldn’t get it done. The team that used to not be able to beat the Twins is officially gone. They won this series 3-1 to pull to an even .500 against them this year.

The White Sox knew that in order to win this division they needed to get through the Minnesota Twins and they did. 5-5 against them isn’t as dominant as you want to be but it is good when you consider where they were against the Twins a year ago. The White Sox are going to get so much better and the Minnesota Twins should probably start getting a little nervous about it.

That is it for White Sox vs Twins this year as they have completed all ten of their games. Now, they will only see each other before 2021 if they meet in this year’s postseason. They are probably going to be number one and number two in the division (in either order) so it probably wouldn’t happen in the first round but you never know beyond that. You have to respect the Twins for how good they are but you shouldn’t be scared of them either. There are going to be so many great battles for years to come.
