39. . P. Toronto Blue Jays. Ken Giles. 51. player

Ken Giles was mostly injured during the 2020 season. He would, however, be worth the risk if the Chicago White Sox wanted to add another depth bullpen pitcher. He was very good in 2019 which should be more of what people look at when it comes to evaluating Giles. He is a perfect candidate for a great comeback type player in 2021. At 30 years old, there is still plenty of great production left in him.

Giles, in 2019, was so good for Toronto. He appeared in 44 games which is a good amount of games to evaluate him. He had a 1.87 ERA and a 1.000 WHIP over those 44 appearances that accumulated 53.0 innings. He managed to get to 23 saves on a Blue Jays team that wasn’t very good. Having a good pitcher to close out baseball games for you is very important and Giles should be able to do that next year and beyond.

If the White Sox can’t bring back Alex Colome or land a guy like Liam Hendriks, Giles would be a great alternative. He needs to stay healthy and pitch the whole year for the risk to be worth it but the bullpen wouldn’t look too shabby with him at the end of it.
