The Chicago White Sox need some help from Santa Clause this offseason.

The Chicago White Sox have received a lot of gifts so far this season. They are a team that should be on the nice list for the way they played in 2020. It was only a 60 game season but they made the best of it and were awesome. They ended a playoff drought that lasted 12 years which was the biggest key of 2020 for them. Every player that needs to be good for them stood up in a different way and the baseball world started to notice.

Now, they need to supplement their young core even more to give themselves a chance at the World Series. Santa Clause came early in 2020 for them when he delivered Lance Lynn and Adam Eaton which will temporarily help them in their quest for a starter and a right fielder. However, it doesn’t seem like they are done with their roster for 2021 so it would be nice to see Santa Clause come through in a big way.

The first thing is it would be nice to see Santa deliver is a full-time closer. Alex Colome may or may not come back as he is an unrestricted free agent right now. There are some other good closers available right now but they might need to be given one quickly.

Beyond that, they can use a little more depth. Depth is key to winning the World Series in Major League Baseball. They are going to have one of the best starting lineups, rotations, and bullpens in baseball if everyone stays healthy but a few more bench pieces would be nice. They could also use one more big hitter to be the designated hitter. That would provide them with the perfect amount of depth for the season.

Of course, they hired a whole new coaching staff. If Santa Clause could help them deliver what this young team needs it would go a long way. It seems, after time to digest it all, like they can make it work. Everyone needs to be put in a position to succeed. At the end of the day, the thing White Sox fans want the most is a World Series Championship. Hopefully, Santa Clause can help them deliver exactly what they need for that to happen.
