The Chicago White Sox are going into the season with a large number of expectations. Everyone around the game believes that this team is going to be very good. It is largely because of the roster they have put together through a four-year rebuild. There is still a long way to go but they are on the rise as much as any team in the league.
However, it can’t all be perfect right away. They still have some obstacles to overcome. No team really just comes out of a rebuild and wins the World Series the next year. The Houston Astros, Kansas City Royals, and Chicago Cubs even had a year or two where they needed to put it all together before winning. A lot of people consider the White Sox to be a true contender going into the 2021 season. Why is that? Well, they have a lot of superstars. There are more potential all-stars on this roster than there have been in a very long time (maybe even ever). They are working on building a rotation and bullpen that will shut the door just enough to allow their offense to shine. Now, it looks like the pitching might be even better than we thought which is dangerous for the rest of the league.
It is good to be positive. They are a really good baseball team and people should be excited. There were some issues going into the offseason that you can only hope were addressed in the right manner. If they were, this team could win 100 games.
