The Chicago White Sox believe they can win the World Series sometime in the near future. They probably believe that they can win multiple if they make the right decisions over the course of the next five years. They are going to make big trades that acquire “ready to win now” pieces in exchange for future assets over this time as well. There are going to be plenty of options available through the years as well.

There are some very good players for the Chicago White Sox to consider trading for.

One of those options might be right across town. Kris Bryant‘s name has been in the rumor mills for a few years now. His contract is done after this season and the Chicago Cubs clearly don’t want to pay him what he is worth. He might not be in the MVP form that he was back in 2016 but he is still certainly an above-average Major Leaguer.

2020 wasn’t Bryant’s best season but most Cubs’ stars were bad at the plate. Bryant, like many other players on that team, is looking for a big bounce back in 2021. If he shows that throughout the season but the Cubs don’t win a lot, you can fully expect him to be traded. There are a lot of teams that could use a player like Bryant for the rest of this 2021 season if they believe they can win.

Bryant provides a tremendous amount of baseball talent but he also provides leadership and experience. He won the World Series with the Cubs in 2016 and we all know how hard that was. That type of experience would be so good for this White Sox team. He can also play many different positions which is nice because Yoan Moncada would still be their third baseman. If they risked it all to get Bryant right now, this is what it might take:
