Jimmy Cordero is currently injured but he might be back at some point this season. He is, however, using his Instagram to get Chicago White Sox fans all excited. He posted a video of Eloy Jimenez walking around with a baseball bat in his hands with the caption “get better day by day”.

It is something that this team desperately needs in order to maximize its potential. It definitely seems like a possibility that this kid gets back into the lineup sooner than everyone originally expected.

Jimmy Cordero’s Instagram post is certainly something to get Chicago White Sox fans excited.

This isn’t the first time that Eloy’s return has been hinted at it. Jimenez himself hinted at it last week with a post on Instagram. It is certainly fun to think about as long as he is 100 percent healthy when he returns. They don’t need him to reinjure himself because he came back too soon. In all reality, that would be a disaster for the 2021 Chicago White Sox. Jimmy Cordero’s video is certainly good news, however.

Jimenez went into this season with the potential to hit 45 or more home runs and have 120 or more RBIs. Instead, he now has the potential to give this team a spark as they try to take a stranglehold on the American League Central division. It would be a lot easier if he came in and was the best player he could be.

A lot of people talk about potential outfielders that can replace their injured ones but none would be as good as Jimenez himself. He is as good of an acquisition as this team can make right now. He still might be ways away but all of these hints are a good sign. It would make Rick Hahn’s trade deadline a lot easier if Jimenez is in the mix to be back soon.

With Luis Robert out, a lot of offense has been missing from the lineup. He is going to come back at some point this season too so when they are both back, they will be ready to go on a run. They just need to continue treading water and finding ways to win games in the meantime. If they do that and are still in first place when they return, they will have a good shot at going deep in the playoffs.

With Adam Engel set to return soon, it has a chance to go from a very bleak outfield to a very good one. Then you have Andrew Vaughn and Yermin Mercedes in the mix to DH which makes things even more dangerous looking. Hopefully, Jimenez is actually on track to come back sooner than later.
