The Chicago White Sox pulled out a huge victory over the Detroit Tigers on Thursday night. They need to win as many games as possible in order to take a big lead over the Cleveland Indians in the Central Division of the American League.

Well, the 4-1 victory was a very fun win for the White Sox. Lance Lynn shoved, the bullpen closed the door, and the offense relied heavily on the home run ball. It was really nice to see the White have four different players hit one out.

The Chicago White Sox had a night filled with home runs which were really nice.

The White Sox have a very good lineup. However, without Eloy Jimenez and Luis Robert there due to injury, there is a  little less pop in the lineup. The White Sox have overcome that by getting good production from unique sources and it has been a fun season so far as a result. There seems to be a new hero every week.

With all of that said, it was nice to see a game where the home run ball was well used. The Sox had four different players hit a home run in the win. They were all solo shots which explains the 4-1 victory. With that type of pitching from Lynn and the bullpen, It was just enough offense to seal the big victory.

It started off with the big home run from Yoan Moncada in the bottom of the first inning. He is quietly having an incredible season and not many people are talking about it. The power is still yet to come this season in full force but he does just about everything at an elite level. It was great to see him off to a good start in this one. From that moment on, the White Sox were on fire.

Jake Lamb put the White Sox ahead 2-0 with his solo shot in the second inning. He is slowly looking like the old Jake Lamb that hit 30 home runs twice. He is on a nice little run and it would be great to see it continue. He is starting to show that he might not be the guy who leaves when the team gets healthier.

After the Tigers had a solo shot of their own to make the score 2-1, it was clear that Yasmani Grandal had one thing in mind when he came up to bat with one out and nobody on in the 7th. He wanted to blast a baseball to Pluto and he did. From that moment, it felt like the White Sox were going to hang on and win.

For good measure, Tim Anderson hit one out to make sure the White Sox have just enough runs. Putting them up 4-1 was the perfect insurance heading into the 9th inning. Liam Hendriks came in and shut the door and the White Sox took a big game. It would be nice to see this all continue along with the good contact hitting from certain guys.
