John Means is one pitcher even the Chicago White Sox would want to add.

The Chicago White Sox has an incredible rotation. With Lucas Giolito, Carlos Rodon, Lance Lynn, Dallas Keuchel, and Dylan Cease, it is hard to find room for anyone. With Michael Kopech having the highest ceiling of them all, it makes it even tougher.

All of this is true but you can never have enough good pitching in Major League Baseball. The best teams in the league have a great offense but are also able to pitch. Anyone would want to add someone like John Means.

It is hard to say who he would replace in the rotation but they would find a way. It would also lock Michael Kopech in as a superweapon in the bullpen. Dallas Keuchel has had his struggles this season so far and Means has been significantly better. In fact, he has been one of the best pitchers in Major League Baseball.

Means is currently on the 10-day IL with a left shoulder strain. He will be back in no time but it is something to keep an eye on. He has a WAR of 3.0 which is incredible at this stage of the season for a starting pitcher. He has a record of 4-2 and the White Sox were one of the teams that beat him but it wasn’t easy. If the Orioles are taking calls on him, the White Sox should at least consider it because he makes all 30 teams better.
