Celebrate Chicago’s walk-off in the Field of Dreams Game with new shirts
In an ending straight out of a movie, Tim Anderson hit a walk-off bomb to give the Chicago White Sox a win in the Field of Dreams Game.
Trailing 8-7 with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning, Tim Anderson walked to the plate for the Chicago White Sox. Sure, it was just a regular-season meeting with the Yankees, but it felt like so much more. The Field of Dreams Game – the first Major League Baseball game in the state of Iowa.
And boy, did it get a Hollywood-type of ending.
Anderson hit his 13th home run of the season – a two-run bomb – and then had a grand old time rounding the bases.
It was awesome. Who says baseball isn’t fun?
