Yoelqui Cespedes

Yoelqui Cespedes is going to be a big part of the Chicago White Sox one day soon.

The Chicago White Sox has a lot of great talent at the MLB level. They also have a lot of great talent at the Minor League level. One of those guys is Yoelqui Cespedes. The White Sox landed this guy in the international free-agent market last winner. He was the top guy in his class and the White Sox landed him. Now, we can only hope that he reaches his potential because that would make this team even deeper.

He is currently in AA with an ETA of 2022. According to MLB’s list of top prospects, he is the number two guy in the White Sox organization. The only player ahead of him right now is Colson Montgomery who was just drafted in the first round a few months ago. He is going to look great playing right field one day.

However, he should absolutely be someone that waits until 2022. He might not even be there early in 2022 depending on how things go with the player and the organization. When he is ready he will be called up but there is no point to bring up a talent like this right now. Brian Goodwin, Adam Engel, and Andrew Vaughn can do a fine job in the meantime.
