Things didn’t go well for the Chicago White Sox in game one of their American League Division Series against the Houston Astros. That place has become a house of horrors for them in 2021 but they need to find a way out of it. Lance Lynn was horrible as Lance McCullers Jr. dominated his way through the Sox lineup.

However, we all knew that taking one of two games in Houston would be a big thing in this series so this is their chance to do just that. Lucas Giolito is on the mound for the White Sox to try and even the series. He will face Framber Valdez of the Astros in this game. Both are good pitchers but we need to hope that Giolito has one of those dominant games we have seen before.

White Sox vs Astros odds today

According to our friends at WynnBET, the White Sox are underdogs for the second game in a row. They are +113 to win the game while the Astros are -123. You can also get the over/under at 7.5. The over is -130 and the under is +100. For the run line, White Sox +1.5 is -185, and Astros -1.5 is +165. Hopefully, the White Sox can win underdog betters some big money.

White Sox pitcher today

The Chicago White Sox will go with Lucas Giolito. He has been the best pitcher on the team for three years now and they need it to continue into the postseason. He has the talent and the competitive drive to go out there and help them win. As mentioned before, he will face Framber Valdez of the Astros.

White Sox starting lineup

The White Sox didn’t announce yesterday’s lineup until an hour before the first pitch. It may come out a bit sooner than that today but it isn’t out as of yet. You can for sure expect to see Yoan Moncada, Tim Anderson, Jose Abreu, Yasmani Grandal, Eloy Jimenez, and Luis Robert in the top six. You may see Abreu back at first base after playing as the designated hitter in game one.

It will be interesting to see who plays out of Cesar Hernandez or Leury Garcia at second base. It should also be interesting to see who plays right field and what they do with Gavin Sheets. Regardless, this lineup is dangerous.

White Sox vs Astros prediction today

How can you not expect to see Lucas Giolito and the White sox tie the series? That is what needs to happen in order for this team to have any chance at home. They started to heat up the bats late in yesterday’s game and are hoping to carry that momentum into this game as well.
