Happy Halloween! The Chicago White Sox won’t be playing in a Halloween edition of a World Series Game today like the Houston Astros or Atlanta Braves which means they didn’t reach their ultimate goal this year. However, they are still scary on Halloween for the rest of Major League Baseball because of where they are going.

The White Sox has so many talented position players. Their big six of Yasmani Grandal, Jose Abreu, Tim Anderson, Yoan Moncada, Eloy Jimenez, and Luis Robert is as good as any core in the league. With youngsters like Andrew Vaughn and Gavin Sheets coming next, things are looking good in that department.

There are some awesome pitchers on the team as well. Studs like Lucas Giolito, Lance Lynn, and Dylan Cease are all there as starters for the long hall. There are other elite pitchers on the staff like Michael Kopech, Liam Hendriks, Garrett Crochet, and Aaron Bummer amongst others that will help as well. This is a very nice group to have as the baseline of your team.

Most of the players mentioned are very young. That means they will be very good for a long time. The White Sox believe that they are set up for sustained success more than the team has ever been in its history. If everyone keeps growing as players, it isn’t out of the realm of possibility that this team eventually wins a World Series.

The Chicago White Sox are going to be a scary baseball team for a long time.

They are in a division that they should dominate for a while. The AL Central has some teams that are rebuilding the right way and will be good soon but may take a while. It is once the playoffs begin against teams like the Houston Astros, Boston Red Sox, and Tampa Bay Rays where the White Sox need to get over the hump.

As mentioned before, the White Sox are a very young team. It is going to be a while before you can say that they have plenty of playoff experience. There are many good years coming here with these guys and the rest of the league started to take notice in 2021.

This year, on Halloween, we recognize how scary this team should be. They won 93 games in their first real (non-COVID-19 shortened) full season attempting to win. If they can make some significant upgrades to a few positions this winter, they will be even better. They weren’t very healthy in 2021 which hindered them a little bit as well. Great things are coming really soon.
