1. Tim Anderson – SS

Tim Anderson is the perfect leadoff man for the Chicago White Sox lineup.

We all know that on healthy days, Tim Anderson is going to be leading off for the Chicago White Sox. He is by far the perfect man for this role. At one point, we weren’t sure what Tim Anderson’s ceiling would be on this team but now we know.

He is one of the best pure hitters in all of Major League Baseball. He won the batting title in 2019, came in second in 2020, and still remained over .300 in 2021. Batting average isn’t the best stat anymore as we have better ones to evaluate players but having someone who can hit as well as Anderson at the top of the order is amazing.

Anderson can also provide a bit of power throughout the year as well. He has given the White Sox a 1-0 lead before the number two hitter even comes up to bat numerous times. He also sets the tone for the entire game with both his attitude and the way he plays the game. He should be sitting at the top of the order for a very long time.

Anderson will be the team’s primary shortstop on defense. He started off his MLB career as someone who played subpar defense while being an incredible hitter. He has worked hard at it and now he is very good at his position.
