33. player. 128. . SP. Chicago White Sox. Lance Lynn

The Chicago White Sox saw Lance Lynn be everything they needed and more in 2021.

Lance Lynn was outstanding with the Texas Rangers. He seemed to get better as the years went on which is unique but the White Sox took notice. They traded Dane Dunning to the Rangers to bring Lynn to the southside and then gave him a contract extension halfway through the year.

He was the starter in game one of the playoffs but that was probably a mistake. It wasn’t really because of Lynn or Giolito but it was more because of the fact that Lynn is historically bad in Houston. For whatever reason, that is his house of horrors.

Lynn will certainly bounce back in 2022. There are people that will consider him an ace but the upside and youth of Gioltio should get him the edge right now. Lynn being an MLB number two is really good because that means that the staff is awesome.

Attitude is a big part of Lynn’s game. He is rowdy on the mound and the fans seem to love it. He works hard out there and gives it his all. He works off his fastball which makes him incredibly hard to hit because he just keeps coming at you with it until he doesn’t. It is marvelous to watch.
