39. Chicago White Sox. Aaron Bummer. 39. player. 128.

The Chicago White Sox should trade Aaron Bummer while they can get value.

Aaron Bummer probably still has value across Major League Baseball. He has nasty stuff when he is on but he hasn’t been on for most of the season. He is just coming back from a 10-day IL stint so we can only hope that he returns to normal but it might be time to trade him.

For the last few seasons, he has been considered to be one of the better relief pitchers in the league. He can be a victim of bad luck because he is a heavy sinker ball thrower but that can only be an excuse for so long. The White Sox might be able to make a good trade involving him.

Whether it is for prospects of players that can help them win in 2022, they should consider it before he really sinks his value to the point of no return. It should really be something that the team considers because he just hasn’t looked like himself at any point this season so far.

We don’t know if the White Sox will actually cut any of these guys. The first two are DFA candidates depending on how the season goes but all could be on the trade block before the deadline comes. No matter what happens, all we can hope for is the White Sox returning to form.
