Miami could want quantity when it comes to trading with the Chicago White Sox.

The Chicago White Sox don’t have the deepest farm system in the league right now. In fact, it is one of the barest. However, that doesn’t mean that now of their guys are going to be really good MLB players. There are a few that could actually go on to be really good players one day.

For Jazz Chisholm Jr., Jake Burger could headline a package going back to the Marlins. He has been very good since coming up from AAA in 2021. He has been up and down because of the team’s depth but he has been on the roster for most of 2022. For most of it, he was a top hitter on this team.

Miami would love to add back a hitter like Burger if they were forced to trade Chisholm Jr. They would also love adding four really good prospects like Colson Montgomery, Oscar Colas, and Wes Kath. All of these guys (including Burger) are very young and have a long way to go.

Getting them in the organization would really help any team that is rebuilding right now. The White Sox should have o problem moving players like that if it means getting Jazz Chisholm Jr. on their team.

We don’t know for sure if he is going to be dealt but it is easy to speculate after the team has a meeting criticizing him. The White Sox also needs a top-flight second baseman right now and he is definitely that. His future is both bright and intriguing.
