The White Sox would have to offer a lot of MLB-ready talent for Juan Soto.

Losing three MLB players would be a tough blow to the Chicago White Sox. Losing their top two prospects would also sting based on where their farm system is in the rankings right now. However, with a Juan Soto trade, you do what you have to do and ask questions later.

This trade proposed here is like a mix of the other two before it. This one has Eloy Jimenez, Yoan Moncada, Colson Montgomery, Oscar Colas, and Jake Burger. Jimenez, Moncada, and Burger are the three MLB-ready ones while the other two are their top prospects.

We wouldn’t know if giving up a haul like this for one player would be worth it for years. We would have to see how Soto does with the White Sox while watching how Washington plays as a team with these new players.

Once again, it is so obvious that the White Sox are not going to be the winners of this sweepstakes. One of the teams that can afford to extend him, has the farm to acquire him, and the brains to make a move like this with no hesitation is going to be the one who gets him. Even though it is incredibly unlikely and borderline impossible, it is fun to imagine.
