The Chicago White Sox were miserable to watch for most of the 2022 season. It was a massive disappointment after how good they were in 2021 and the expectations that they had coming into the year. Unfortunately, it was all for not.

The White Sox are going to miss the playoffs for the first time since 2018. They will be eliminated from the Wild Card chase this week and the Cleveland Guardians already clinched the American League Central Division.

Who to blame has already been the hot topic all summer. There are folks on the side of the manager and there are some that believe it’s the front office, but the truth is that it is a mix of both of those along with the players.

Chicago had a few guys that did not play well at all this season and should be evaluated with a sense of harshness this off-season. These are the three players that the White Sox should consider trading right when the season ends:

Yoan Moncada. 10. player. 128. . 3B. Chicago White Sox

The Chicago White Sox should consider moving on from Yoan Moncada now.

To be honest, it is fair to say that Yoan Moncada is a bust. He was supposed to be the leader of this team for a long time and that just hasn’t happened. He can still become a great player but he is never going t be the best player on the team he is on.

The White Sox should consider moving him during the offseason. There are plenty of teams that would take a risk on his potential. He is an elite defensive third baseman that could get even better if he keeps working at it.

He can’t hit for anything anymore. He used to be so good but 2022 was a major struggle for him. He started the year hurt and never found his form when he returned. At the end of the year, it looked like he didn’t even want to be there. It is time to consider moving on.
