The Chicago White Sox are a team that underachieved in 2022 that is trying to right their wrongs this offseason.

They could make some trades or some free-agent signings and both of those things can help them win more in 2023.

There is also a different way that they can add talent and that is by using some of their farm system to make their team better.

If they want to go that route, there are plenty of good players in the system that might be able to come up and make an impact. These are the three prospects that could be on the Opening Day roster:

3. Lenyn Sosa

Lenyn Sosa is probably very eager for the 2023 White Sox season to start.

Lenyn Sosa got a taste of the big leagues in 2022. He made his MLB debut after making the jump all the way up from AA. You don't usually see players do that in this day and age but that is what the White Sox did this year.

When the White Sox sent him back down he went to AAA instead of AA which was probably better for his development anyway. He did get called up again at one point and was a little bit better. Going into the 2022 season, he has to feel like he could be a Major League player at some point.

Nothing is at all guaranteed but out of everyone in the system that is considered a prospect, he is among the most likely to be on the Opening Day roster. That should be giving him plenty of motivation as he trains during the offseason and watches what the team does.
