The Chicago White Sox were brutal in 2022 which has been stated over and over again. However, going 81-81 doesn't mean you're a bad team but it feels like that because of the World Series-level expectations of them. They were so bad and still went .500.

Right there you see that this team underperformed to their standard and can turn it around. If they just play better defense, have a smarter manager, and cut down on the mistakes, they can get back to what made them so good in 2021.

Getting the power stroke back in their bats would go a long way as well. Everyone needs to take a look in the mirror during the offseason and figure out how they can help the team get this team turned around.

There is no guarantee that the Minnesota Twins are good and the Cleveland Guardians will have to play that perfectly again for a second year in a row to maintain it. We know that the Detroit Tigers and Kansas City Royals might be a couple of years away.

The Chicago White Sox need to keep up with the rest of the division.

The front office is part of the problem too. Speaking of looking in the mirror, they need to do so as much as any player. They need to make some moves in order to keep up with the rest of the division as we transition into the 2023 seaosn.

The Minnesota Twins are the most likely to spend big money but the Cleveland Guardians are the most likely to be the smartest. It would be cool to see the White Sox have a little bit of both this off-season. If they don't, 2023 is going to be more of the same.

Second base, right field, fixing the long jam at DH/first base, and the pitching dept is the biggest key to this entire offseason.

Adding players who can help them in these areas is going to be the biggest thing needed for them to ever have a chance at the division.

Getting more production from the players that are already there is important too. If they come into 2023 focused and healthy, they will have done their part this off-season.
