The Chicago White Sox have had a very eventful week. First, it was reported that they had hired a new manager named Pedro Grifol. He was the bench coach for the Kansas City Royals before finally landing a job as a Major League manager.

There was also some announcement revolving around coaches that are being brought in, retained, and let go. With all of this going on, they also had an introductory press conference with Grifol and Rick Hahn. They spoke and answered questions which also created more storylines.

With all of this going on, there was one bit of news in the Chicago White Sox organization that isn't getting the shine that it deserves. The AAA squad in the Charlotte Knights revealed some new jerseys and grear.

They are going through a complete color change as they are light blue and navy blue with white. Before they had the black and gold which is a completely different look. They are very fresh looking uniforms for an team that has it the same for a very long time.

The reason for this color change is so that they can be in line with the other pro sports teams in the city. Of course, the Carolina Panthers of the NFL, Charlotte Hornets of the NBA, and the Charlotte Football Club of the MLS all wear the same colors. Finally, the Knights joined them.

We should see some important White Sox prospects play for them in these uniforms next year. You never know if we see guys like Jake Burger, Romy Gonzalez, Lenyn Sosa, or Oscar Colas down there at any point. If they do play there, they will certainly look good.

There were even instances when team leaders played down there. If they had these jerseys in 2022, we'd have seen a guy like Johnny Cueto or Yasmani Grandal sport them. It is definitely a good look that anyone wearing it can be proud of.

We can only hope that some good development and lots of wins come down there for the Knights. Their success is paramount to the White Sox organization.
