Former Chicago White Sox outfielder Alejandro De Aza, who is now with the Baltimore Orioles, had two doubles in Game One of the ALDS.

The O’s won the first game of the ALDS by a 12-3 score at Camden Yards, which included an eight-run eighth inning by the home club.

As for De Aza, he reached base three times, finishing 2-for-4 with one run and two RBIs.

De Aza was hit by a pitch in the first inning, then had consecutive ground outs in the second and third innings, as he was the No. 2 batter in the O’s lineup.

Then in that eight-run eighth, De Aza hit two doubles, with his second being a two-run double to score Jonathan Schoop and Nick Markakis.

De Aza didn’t have much consistent success in his tenure with the White Sox, as they traded him to the O’s on Aug. 30 for minor leaguers Mark Blackmar and Miguel Chalas.

This season, in a combined effort with the White Sox and the O’s, De Aza batted .252 in 142 games, 122 with the White Sox. Of De Aza’s eight home runs this season, three were with the O’s in the final 20 games of the season.

Baltimore leads the ALDS over the AL Central champions, 1-0, and will play again on Friday at noon ET on TBS.
