I have the Royals finishing fourth in the AL Central in 2015.

Royals manager Ned Yost seem to pull all the right strings down the stretch and throughout the playoffs. For his team to be one of the worst offenses in baseball and make it to the World Series, he deserves a ton of credit.

But the odds of something like that happening twice is slim. Add in the fact that they lost their best pitcher and replaced him with someone who has had two good seasons in 10 years that were six years apart and tells me they take a step back this season.

In order for them to have success they will have to hit. That means Hosmer, Rios, Moustakas all rebound and Cain and Escobar build carry their September and October numbers into the season.

That may be a bit much to ask for.
