- White Sox fall to the Dodgers 6-1 in Cactus League Opener on Thursday afternoon. John Danks gave up three runs in two innings of work, and takes the loss. The White Sox were not able to climb out of the early hole, Todd Frazier drove in the only run of the game for the White Sox in the top of the sixth inning.
- Jerry Sands had an impressive showing in yesterday’s game, smacking a deep double off of the center field wall in his first at-bat. Sands also threw Dodgers catcher Austin Barnes out at second on a ball hit into the alley, and two batters later made a leaping catch in left field as he crashed into the fence.
- Dioner Navarro went 2-2 on the afternoon, singling twice in his White Sox spring training debut.
- Brett Lawrie showed nice patience in the number two slot in the White Sox order, walking twice in yesterday’s game and scoring once on the Frazier sac-fly.
- The White Sox play the Indians at 2:05 (CT) this afternoon at Camelback Ranch, Jacob Turner will get the start for the White Sox.
