Weekly report on White Sox minor league affiliates including links for daily results
The White Sox promoted its first-round pick of the 2014 MLB Draft Carson Fulmer on Friday to the major league team. The White Sox also promoted its 2016 first-round draft pick Zack Collins to Single-A Winston-Salem Dash in the same week. Collins didn’t disappoint in his first game with the Dash on July 15.
Collins collected three hits in his first game with the Dash including a three-run home run against the Potomac Nationals. Collins added another three-run home run on Sunday against the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. In three games with the Dash, Collins has two home runs, six runs batted in and four walks.

Spencer Adams‘ ankle injury didn’t require the young pitcher to miss more than one start. Adams sustained the injury in a July 7 start for the Dash and was placed on the 7-day disabled list. The 2014 White Sox second-round pick returned for the Dash on July 15 and pitched effectively for Winston-Salem. Adams pitched six innings giving up two earned runs, and recording three strikeouts.
Alec Hansen, the White Sox second-round pick in the 2016 draft had an impressive debut for Great Falls Voyagers of the Pioneer league. Hansen pitched four scoreless innings for the Voyagers on Sunday and recorded eight strikeouts. The former Oklahoma Sooner hasn’t allowed an earned run in any of his four appearances with the Arizona White Sox of the Arizona League and the Voyagers.
Zack Burdi, the White Sox second first-round pick in the draft pitched a scoreless inning for the Barons on Sunday. Burdi recorded two strikeouts on Sunday against the Biloxi Shuckers. The native of Downers Grove, Ill. notched five strikeouts on Saturday in 1.2 innings pitched for the Barons.
