More from White Sox Prospects

The Sox have had some decent starts from its top prospects recently. After Carson Fulmer posted a quality start for Triple-A Charlotte on Sunday, Kopech was able to notch a solid outing for Birmingham. Kopech also pitched his second consecutive game without allowing more than two walks. Kopech had allowed more than two walks in three of his previous four starts for the Barons.

While Kopech enjoyed a quality start in a win for Birmingham, Tyler Danish posted a quality start in a loss for Charlotte on Tuesday. The Knights loss its second consecutive game on the road to the Indianapolis Indians 3-2. Danish pitched six innings and gave up three earned runs to Indianapolis. The 22-year-old pitcher allowed eight hits and two walks. Danish recorded four strikeouts on the day.

In his previous start, Danish allowed five earned runs and lasted just 5.2 innings. On the season, Danish is 1-3 with a 3.38 ERA. With the Sox currently struggling with its starting rotation, Danish could be a possibility to replace Mike Pelfrey or Dylan Covey. However, Danish struggled last season with the Sox but he had skipped Triple-A when he was promoted from the Barons.
