Nick Castellanos

The Chicago White Sox should really consider adding someone like Nick Castellanos.

Nick Castellanos has become a meme over the past couple of seasons, as there’s a drive into deep left field by Castellanos, it will be a home run and so that will make it a 4-0 ballgame. You have heard it by now if you follow baseball closely and it never stops being funny.

However, it is not funny that the White Sox still needs help in right field after all of these years. Nick Castellanos isn’t a Gold Glove Award winner by any means but he is a tremendous hitter. He had MVP-like numbers in years prior to this so he will be worth a look for every team.

If the White Sox added a bat like that to right field, their lineup would be even scarier. He has game-breaking power that can help change a game with just one swing. He also knows that he has had success on the southside from his days with the Detroit Tigers and Chicago Cubs before making his way to the Cincinnati Reds.

He was also extra special in his short stint with the Cubs. The man just loves playing baseball in Chicago so the Sox should really consider bringing him back in. It would make a lot of difference in the clubhouse if they made a signing like that.

We have no clue what direction the White Sox are going to go in as the dust settles from the lockout. There are already teams making calls from one another to agents so it will be fun to see what Rick Hahn has up his sleeve. As of right now, these former Cubs sound appealing for the Sox.
