Andrew Vaughn is someone for the White Sox to consider trading for Juan Soto.

You can make a claim that Andrew Vaughn has been the best hitter for the Chicago White Sox so far this season. That isn’t necessarily saying much as they have only recently started to score runs in bunches recently but Vaughn has been good all season long.

The problem for Vaughn is that he can never get the true recognition that he deserves because the White Sox misuses him a lot. He should never be in the outfield anymore. Just because he played it okay after never playing it before doesn’t mean that he is the guy there now.

Vaughn is a first baseman that can also be a designated hitter. Either one of these positions for him would be a better situation for him as he can just focus on what makes him great and that is mashing baseballs.

If he went to the Washington Nationals in a deal, they would almost certainly use him the right way as they rebuild their team. He’d probably be the new focal point of their offense as he is starting to show that he can be that good. It would be hard to let him go but everyone is worth it for Soto.
